Poirot - Series 6 comes to DVD and Blu-ray Disc this month.
Previously reported with a release date of this coming Tuesday the 14th, Acorn Media has finalized a street date for the DVD ($39.99 SRP) and Blu-ray Disc ($49.99 SRP) sets of this title as being
August 28th. Presented in 1.33:1 full screen aspect ration, with English mono sound and English subtitles, you'll get a 4-disc set running 415 minutes on DVD, and on the BD version you'll get a 2-disc set with slightly longer cuts running 428 minutes, presented in the same aspect ratio but at 1080p HD resolution, plus English 2.0 PCM uncompressed audio, and English subtitles. Both contain these 4 mysteries:
- Hercule Poirot's Christmas - The detective's hopes for a quiet holiday are dashed when he must investigate a murder at a wealthy man's country estate.
- Hickory Dickory Dock - After making several errors at work, Miss Lemon confesses that she's worried sick about a series of thefts at the hostel her sister runs.
- Murder on the Links - Poirot's reputation precedes him during a vacation in France, leading to his involvement in a case of abduction and murder.
- Dumb Witness - When the premonitions of two sisters come to gruesome life, Poirot and Hastings solve a murder by communicating with a silent witness.
