Fox Home Entertainment has formally announced today that
DVD and
Blu-ray Disc versions of
Burn Notice - The Fall of Sam Axe will be available, as previously reported, this
July 26th. Compared to the broadcast version of this prequel telefilm, both home video releases are confirmed to be an "extended" version which will clock in at 108 minutes long. In addition you'll get these extras on the title, in either format:
- "The Fall of Jeffrey Donovan" Featurette
- Audio commentary
- Gag reel
- Deleted scenes
The DVD version checks in at $19.98 SRP in the USA and CA$21.98 SRP in Canada, with studio-provided specs showing anamorphic widescreen video, English: 5.1 Dolby Digital audio, and subtitles in English, French and Spanish. The Blu-ray Disc release is priced at $24.99 SRP in the USA and CA$25.99 SRP in Canada, with specs listed as high-def widescreen video, English 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio sound, and subtitles again in English, French and Spanish.
