After NBC cut their order for the freshman drama from 13 down to 10 episodes, this past month they decided to transmit the final episode over at their website, rather than via traditional broadcast. They haven't officially said it was cancelled, but things sure didn't look good for the series. Now NBC- Universal seems to be confirming that this show is over, as they have announced to retailers today to expect a July 5th
DVD release titled "The Cape - The Complete Series
." The 2-disc set running 371 minutes will be presented in anamorphic widescreen video, English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound, and with English subtitles. No extras have been mentioned at this time, nor is a Blu-ray version of this title planned. Cost is $29.98 SRP, and here's a look at the packaging:
