The jokes stretch from here to maternity in the hilariously offensive Family Guy episode you couldn't see on television! Now legal to own (but just barely), Partial Terms of Endearment is a freakin' poignant tale of what happens when Lois agrees - against Peter's wishes - to become a surrogate mother for an infertile couple. You'll laugh, you'll cry...it's your choice!
Several weeks ago we reported
that an insert ad found in the newly-released Family Guy - Volume 8 DVD
said to expect another release coming very soon: the text told fans to "Look For Barely Legal - New Family Guy DVD Available September
." Today Fox Home Entertainment scheduled a September 28th
release which seems to fit that description, except that it's apparently undergone a title change.
Family Guy - Partial Terms of Endearment
will cost $14.98 SRP in the United States, and CA$16.98 SRP in Canada. The main disc includes the banned-from-TV episode, plus Deleted Scenes and a Commentary Track. In addition they will also include "The Seth and Alex Almost-Live Comedy Show
" on this disc, complete with some Deleted Scenes from that production as well. There will also be a "Family Guy
Live and Uncensored" Table Read, plus an Animatic for the main "Partial Terms of Endearment" episode.
But wait, there's more! Fox's information to retailers also describes a second disc in the case, labeled "Clips to Go," which is said to consist of "Family Guy Karaoke! -
27 9 Original songs composed for Family Guy
." (Correction 7/08
: Fox has let us know that it's 9 songs, not 27) Neat! The video format for this release is anamorphic widescreen, and the audio is in English 5.1 Dolby Digital with subtitles in English, French and Spanish. Below you can see the package art for this title: the first picture is with the o-card on, and then with it off so you can get a peek at what's underneath. Check it out:
